30 DAYS BEFORE CONCERT

Saw the flyers about Retrofest featuring artistes from the 90s, Diana King, Tevin Campbell, Color Me Badd and Firehouse gonna do a concert here in Malaysia. 

Praying really hard that i will get to go.

Was hoping there'd be a contest or something that i can join hoping that i can win tickets but no contest.

Still praying and wishing and dreaming that i get to go!

3 WEEKS BEFORE CONCERT

Still asking around anyone going for the concert.

No one.

Still looking around for any free tickets.

None.

2 WEEKS BEFORE CONCERT

Seri pm me on FB.

"Sar..Diana king tu..tunggu jap ..seri tanya kawan. .ada ticket free lebih tak eh...takut dia dah bagi kat org dah...nanti seri roger"

I replied, of course "NAKKKKKK!"

1 WEEK BEFORE CONCERT

No roger rabbit from sar (seri and me called each other SAR).

Started to feel helpless.

Knowing i won't be going for the concert.

SAD. Boohoohoo. :'(

4 DAYS BEFORE CONCERT

PM Sar again. Ask her whether she get any tickets for me or not,

Sar replied - "ADA!"

What? No way.... Told sar it'll the best advance birthday gift to me :)

2 DAYS BEFORE CONCERT

Confirm got VIP Tickets. Its sar's ticket but she can't go, so she gave it to me. I jumped for joy and then begged J to let me go for the concert. Told him it will be my best advance birthday gift cos the concert is on 1st November 2014.

Started to look for replacement singer.

Calling here and there.

No singers available.

Begged J again to let me go.

He finally found a replacement singer.

At the same time, sar told her friend, Rai (the one having the VIP ticket) to go with me. She said Rai is shy cos she saw me once only and we barely talked. Sar convinced Rai to go with me.

1 DAY BEFORE CONCERT

Start watsapping with RAI, getting to know her and found out she's also a December baby.

"Macam mana december baby boleh shy ni?" i asked myself.  Hew hew hew

We arranged where to meet and the time.

Agreed to go to her place at 5pm and then go to the Surf Beach Sunway Lagoon by 6pm.

12 HOURS BEFORE CONCERT

Rai watsapp me, saying there's a change of plans.

Meet her at her place at 2pm.

She told me, we'll be going to Holiday Inn Glenmarie and there's a surprise.

I was screaming in the car on the way to work. I knew already there'll be meet and greet with the artistes cos Holiday Inn Glenmarie Hotel is one of the sponsors. (check the flyers!)

1st November 2014

10am - went to Kyle's KOKO Karnival at his school. Makan mee hoon soup. Sedap.

11:30am - went back home.

12pm - ready for the day.

1:15pm - leave home to Rai's place.

2:00pm - Reached Rai's place.

In the car, on the way to hotel, we both start chatting, getting to know each other more. Macam blind date gitew. And then she said, 3pm is the meet and greet session. I was nervous and happy.

At the same time, Rai said she has few more VIP tickets. Told me to call my frens, anyone wants to go, meet us at Sunway Hotel. I called my younger sister and she said, pick her up at Subang Komuter Station.

2:45pm - Reached Holiday Inn Glenmarie. Rupanya meet and greet at 3:30pm. So we hang out for coffee and cakes.

And then found out Diana King is so tired that she wants to do the meet and greet after the concert. Tak kisah la, mak mana2 pun ok, janji dpt jumpa. 

While Tevin Campbell pulak, missed his flight and he just arrived. Pastu muntah2 plak tu. Supposed to do at the lobby je, but he said please go to his room and meet there. Mak lagi suka. Muahahaha....

4pm - Time to meet Tevin Campbell in his room!

CJ is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Malaysia. So he said, he sure got no problem communicating with the crowd at the concert that night!

After meet and greet went to pick up Asu, and then i have a couple more VIP tickets, called mama, ask her to come pick up the tickets at Pyramid Tower lobby cos she and Abg Man got Makna Night Run in Putrajaya.

p/s - as a singer performer myself, everytime i see my guests muka masam or macam malas nak layan band, i get pissed off. To me, if you wana show that kind of face, you better go fuck off. Performing is not an easy job. You get your energy from the people who enjoyed watching you perform.

So when Firehouse band came out, i know a lot of them don't really know their songs. I admit myself i only know "I live my life for you". But i always show support, showing that i enjoyed their songs (even though i dont know), put a smile on my face, cos i appreciate what the band is doing for their fans.

I was so angry there are a some girls at the front , showing their sour face (macam kena period gitew), pastu bila aku jerit je, pompuan tu pandang aku. Bila aku tepuk tangan, dia pandang aku, bila aku lompat, dia pandang aku, the fuck?  Siap cover2 telinga. Pukimak, ko tak nak dengar aku jerit, tapi ko dok depan speaker, boleh lak tahan? Babi. Pastu kalau ko tak tau nak layan Firehouse, ko blah la. Mcm chee-bye. I saw how CJ was looking at them and they are showing their sour face, i feel you bro CJ. 

Pastu yang aku ngan asu nak tergelak, time Firehouse tengah nyanyi, da gurls boleh google Color Me Badd, Diana King gitew. WATAFAK!

Malu sehhhh....

After Firehouse finished their performance, DJ Adrian came out again with Double D, spinning some old school songs again. Siap ada lagu KRU Awas and Nico Inilah Nasibku. Best best.

Mama finished her nite run and straight came to the concert with Abg Rahman.

She managed to catch a few songs from Diana King. 

So after Diana King finished, DJ Jakeman came out to spin songs from the 90s.

12am

Concert finished. Tevin Campbell did an encore.

It was the best concert ever.

The best night ever.

Again, thank you so much to Rai and Seri, for giving me and my sisters the best night in 2014!

Few #tips on what to wear when you go to concerts.

1. Comfortable clothing especially your shoes. Please don't wear high heels. I stand for 4 hours during the concert.

2. Pants with lots of pockets.

3. Bring powerbank to charge your fon battery.

4. Drink lots of water.

5. Sling bag (in our case, we are at the front, so we put our bags down at the fence).

6. Eat before concert.

7. Go toilet before concert. 

8. Face towel to wipe off all your sweats. 

9. No makeup or false eye lashes. If wana use makeup, use a waterproof cosmetics. Splashes and Looks by AF Sisters has a wide range of waterproof cosmetics. Check it out.

10. Raincoat (just in case if its raining if the concert venue is an open air)

11. And if you want to be noticed by the artistes performing, wear striking fluorescent top! Bright colors especially Yellow. They will surely noticed you! Lalalalala....

Hope the tips are helpful.... cos my mistakes is i forgot to bring face towel. So i wiped my sweats with my jacket :P

What I do when I'm stress?

My kind of work, and lifestyle usually doesn't make me stress. 

But lately, everytime I'm having PMS, my stress level has gone haywire. Wtf. #40sSyndrome 

So here's a couple of things I've learned on how to handle stress level FML

1. Meet up with your friends, a lot. 

I've been meeting up with friends a lot lately that I totally broke up with my stress level, at least for a while. Although I don't tell my friends that I'm stressed cos I don't want them to be stressed too. Why do u need to burden your friends with your problems? Just spend time and chat with friends a lot! 

2. Love your family! 

When you're stress, don't ever ever ever throw tantrums to your children. 

You are stress, but your children shouldn't take all your pain and hurt and your angry moods. They are kids. Throw your tantrums to something else. Painting or drawing is a good way to show your mood. Believe me, even if you're not good at painting or drawing, the white piece of paper will become a piece of beautiful art! 

3. Go out shopping or do it Online! 

I rest my case. Nothing else to say. Shopping is the best stress therapy! 

4. Just Cry your heart out! 

You don't need a shoulder to cry on. You have the floor for prostration to اَللّهُ. 

5. Black out! Not pass out! 

Do yoga and meditate. Blank your mind. You'll feel lighter. 

6. Think Happy! 

Happy times. Happy memories. Happy songs. 

7. Workout

You get healthier body and mind. You happy. 

8. Sleep it off

Good luck with sleeping but if you wake up every hour thinking, just go to step 10!

9. Sing and Dance 

Put on loud music and dance like u don't care. Oh, don't forget to sing along if you know the words! 

10. Pray

Tadah tangan dan berdoa byk2.

It's hard to break up with stress! Stress is like the overly attached girlfriend always clinging to u. SAD. 

But u just need to know how to handle it. Stress can give u lots of sickness especially high blood pressure. So be careful. 

Say SCRAM to STRESS! 

*steps listed above are not guaranteed can scram your stress away. It's just some tips that was helpful to me when I'm stress.

Patience and prayers - PERODUA ALZA

Over the past 3 years, i think i've learned a valuable lesson. I've learned to be more patience and i've been good in playing the waiting game. 

The waiting game i'm talking about is when i decided to purchase a new car. When it was just J and me, we used Perodua Kenari je. And then as my family grows, i wanted to have a bigger car. Wanted to buy Perodua Alza. 

It all started in November 2011. I started applying loans to purchase Alza. At the same time, my car salesman tried to find buyer for my Kenari. A few weeks later, my Kenari got a buyer already. My car is sold, but my bank loan didn't get approval from the bank. My salesman started to apply to 6 other banks. ALL REJECTED. wtf.

Why? Because....

1. I don't have EPF

2. I don't have payslip.

3. But I do have an awesome bank statement.

Tapi dalam awesome bank statement pun, the bank still reject my car loan application. da hell. :(

Gaji puluh2 ribu pun diorang taknak. Mereka hanya nak gaji dlm bank RM3,500. Please take note ya.

Since my car already sold, and struggling to get car loan for the new ALZA, my salesman told me to use Proton Waja owned by a lady who has 3 cars, so i just continue paying for the car. That car i used for 3 years, macam2 rosak, macam2 repair. But im still thankful that i still have car to use to go work and bring my kids jalan2.

Early this year, when the Proton Waja started to give a sound macam tin milo dah, kreok kreok bila driving, i started to fedup and said i gotta try to apply again for car loan.

This time, i prepared all the necessary documents. Bank statement perfect, offer letter and payment voucher plus J as a guarantor, within 1 week submission of loan application, i got a call from the bank, that everything is APPROVED.

Alhamdulillah, after sooooooo many ups and downs, i finally get to drive a new car. At some point i almost gave up and said that i will never get a chance to use a new car. Keep on driving la orang punyer kereta, bayar bulan2, in the end i dont get anything.

Seorang bayi comel lote dilahirkan di Hospital Besar Kuala Lumpur. Diberikan nama gelaran Nina.

Sehingga tahun 1980, ada beberapa keping gambar sahaja yang dapat dicapture dan disimpan sehingga sekarang.

Dari tahun 1981 hingga 1993, lagi beberapa keping gambar sahaja ada disimpan elok. Kamera ingin dibeli oleh ayahanda tercinta tapi wang tidak mengizinkan. Dah la time tu kena pakai kodak. Kodak lak mahal. So kalau cantik gambar yg dicuci, cantik la jadiknya.

Gambar2 yg dapat direcover and masih elok discan and post in Facebook as treasure. Untuk diingati selama-lamanya.

Kesimpulannya alangkah bagus di zaman sekarang ni kita hidup dalam zaman internet. Amik gambar pakai smartphone je. Snap la berpuluh2 kali. Tak suka kalu, terus delete je. Ada banyak choices. Tak puas hati, snap lagi pic sampai la dapat yang boleh memuaskan hati. Dah la tu pulak, boleh edit2 gambar kasik cantik terserlah quality gambar. Dari blur, boleh jadik clear. Dah puas hati cantik gambar tu, terus upload kat instagram & facebook.

Kat instagram atau facebook dishare bersama2 family and friends.

Kalau yang single or yang baru bercouple bercinta, banyak la gambar2 selfie or gambar2 ngan markah masing2.

Kalau yang dah berkahwin atau baru berkahwin, banyak gambar2 lovey dovey bersama pasangan memasing.

Kalau yang dah beranak pinak, banyak la gambar anak anak. Gambar pasangan hidup dah kurang dah dipost.

Gambar mak berselfie tetap hangat (itu aku letew). Gambar abang bidin (laki aku letew) dah kurang dipost/share kt IG or FB.

Tapi tapi tapi.... yang korang share2 gambar anak2 tu ngan your family and friends tu buat pe? Diorang tu bukannya nk like sangat pun. Ada laaaa 2-3 kerat yang akan like. Tapi i think it's best you share the pictures ngan anak2 you sendiri. (this post is for those having kids ya!)

I have created Kyle's email when he was 2. But his email contains nothing.

Until i saw someone posted this message, i thought to myself, it's a brilliant idea.

Now i've created both my children's email address. They have facebook too but just to reserve their names. They don't even logged in FB at all.

Every now and then i will take my kids videos and pics and email to them with a little story about what i email.

Like this, their memories remains with them about their childhood.

Tapi, ai tak melukis for a longgggg time.

And i used to go to galeri seni in KL when i was young. Every painting i see, there's always a story behind it.

Kebanyakan orang bercerita melalui lirik lagu. Ada bercerita melalui tulisan novel. And i believe ada gak yang bercerita melalui sajak (tak sure plak still got or not in this modern days!)

So semalam, tetiba i saw my son's old exercise book on my table with a black pencil color. I took it, start doodling at 1st, tetiba, jadik gambar burung and bunga.

Ceritanya burung tu terbang and looking for honey. So the bird found it :)

And my second drawing, is inspired by Bruno Mars song Talking To The Moon.

So i did 2 sketches. Pasni tak tau la akan ada lagi or not. Kalau mood tu datang, tangan tu nk melukis, i will draw some more. Will definitely put up on my blog kalau ada lagi ya.

Not a superwoman to sing this original key. Dead. After so many months of avoiding to sing this song, i gave up when a staff at Beer Factory Setiawalk insisting me to sing. So there!
