Here's something i'm longing to write since years ago.

Ini dah masuk kali ke-8 we worked at Crossroads Lounge Concorde Hotel KL.

Even though this time banyak muka-muka "regulars" baru (boleh panggil regular customer ke kalau diorang baru 2 tahun menapak kt crossroads? hmmm.... tak kisah lar), the long-time-serving-regular-customers still ada datang and watch us performing when we started again for the 8th time!!!

So, i expect, kalau dah nama tu regular customer, i thought u knew about my status!

HAHAHAHAHA....

Let me gelak 1st, sebab memang kelakar!

Ok.... flashback sikit ye....

Last 2 weeks, i was sitting at the bar during our 3rd breaktime with Ady my guitarist and Navin the soundman. Suddenly came this 1 gentleman asking for some ice from the bartender. While waiting for the bartender to fill up the ice bucket, this gentleman (trying to be gentle lar konon), started to talk to me. So i said i'm the singer, and he said he's always at xroads for the past 15 years, and i told him i've been performing on and off for the past 8 years and i've never noticed him being a regular customer.

I got his name and remembered his face and his looks, since he said he's a regular customer (part of my job is to remember the customer's names!)

So last night, he came to xroads again. Memula i saw kawan dia yang MEMANG i kenal dah lama, since i started at xroads. And kawan dia ni pun memang dah tau sangat2 pasal my status. Bila im about to start my last set, mamat yang gentleman ni tetiba muncul depan entrance tiger corner masa aku berjalan nak ke stage. Saw him, said hi and he invited to sit at his table for a while (i still have 10 minutes before i start the last set so what-the-heck!).

Masa duduk tu lar, dia pun mula meng'ayat' aku. Aku pun heran gak kt mamat ni. Kata regular customer, naper still nk meng'ayat aku? So i kept talking, chit-chatting.

Suddenly soklan2 dia mula melencong.

Tanya i "bila your off day?".

I said "Sunday".

And he ask "what do u do on ur off day?"

I said "i stay home".

And he said "why stay home? We should go out for dinner?"

And i said, "I seldom go out on our off day, cos that's the day i want to sleep sleep sleep!"

And he said "Ok, why don't we go out for lunch?"

Again i said "when i work at xroads, i have no time for myself! We finish work late, and sleep at 5am, wake up at 2pm, and then practice a bit, and then by 6 got to get ready to go to work!"

HE ASK "SO WHERE'S YOUR LIFE? HOW R U GOING TO FIND BOYFRIEND? BTW, DO YOU HAVE BOYFRIEND?"

And i LAUGHED!!!! HAHAHAHAHAAH

And i proudly told him "sorry i don't have a boyfriend cos I'M MARRIED and have 1 kid"

Ha... amik ko!

His jaw dropped. I don't know whether dia termalu or not.

Then he asked "So who's your husband? What does he do for living?"

Again I LAUGHED!!! Hahahahahaha

I told him "JAMES IS MY HUBBY!"

And i told him "I thought you told me last 2 weeks that you're a regular here for 15 years and all your friends knew about me and james, so i expected you to know about me!!!"

Hahahahahahaha....

Member termalu kot.... but i don't know. Luckily i only have 10 minutes talking with him. Sebab lepas tu it's my turn to start work!!!

Hmmmm... Actually banyak lagi mamat2 yang seperti beliau di atas. And ada tu yang dah tau i'm married with james still nk tunggu aku tu!!! Dono whether they gurau or serious, but sorry babe, i'm not available, i'm happily married and hopefully i'll stay this way forever!

Couldn't believe at the age of 34, married and having a 3 and a half year old boy, i could still break someone's heart???? WTF LOL

I remembered one mat salleh back in 2003 (masa tu baru bertunang ngan James) kept telling me that i'm a heartbreaker when he found out that i'm not available!

Would never ask James to buy for me, cos i'll get it myself... The feeling of buying something i like on special occasion using my own money, i felt like on top of the world.... don't know bout' you but that's how i feel!

Classic yang gila!

Tengok pada tajuk kat atas, memang korang tertanya "amende ler classic yang gila ni?".... sebab aku sendiri tertanya-tanya.... "CAMNER PHONE CLASSIC 1680 AKU TU YANG DAH ROSAK TAK BOLEH ON, TETIBA JER BOLEH ON?"

Sapa nak jawab? Hanya fon yang rosak-baik-semula tu jer yang boleh jawab....

Hmmm... aku siap lar mencari simpati dalam fesbuk, tanya sesapa yang baik hati boleh bagi aku pinjam handphone sementara nunggu birthday ku. Naper kena tunggu birthday? Sebab James dah janji nk belikan new phone for me ... hik hik...

Kebetulan plak, anak menakan dia mai from Philippines. Maseth & her hubby Oneth came down to KUL from Singapore last week Thursday 19 November till Monday 23 November (supposed to be Tatay's 84th Birthday, RIP).

And si Oneth is using this handphone NOKIA E71s.... PHP2000 only (RM150). Itu handphone sebenarnya from China. Ada touch screen, ada keypad. Best.... Dual sim plak tu. Tetiba James kata to Oneth, he's buying the phone to give to me... hehehehe... akak tak kisah, murah ke, china ke, touch screen ke, akak terima ngan dada terbuka.... but i told them give to me the phone when they're going back to Singapore again!

So.... on the day they go back to Singapore, i tried to ON the classic.... saje try, tu yang terkejut beruk bila tengok dia mau ON! Aku pun apa tunggu lagi, kelam kabut store the numbers on the phone to my Sim card...

Sebelum tu on Sunday, aku bawak Maseth & Oneth gi jalan2 kt Sunway Pyramid. The first stop is GASOLINE cafe. Order the food, Maseth sudah jatuh cinta!!! :)

Lepas makan kitorang jalan2 tengok laptop, tengok tv, tengok baju, last2 we ended up kt concourse level sebab ada jual Cadbury Chocolates. Maseth memang nk beli chocolates to bring home, and it's sooooo cheap. Dah lar cheap pastu macam ada karnival pulak tu, beli chocolate, dpt coupon to play all the games.

Maseth & Oneth lar yg main2 sumer games, aku jadik tukang amik gambar jer! It was fun. Hadiah yg kitorang dapat? Sticker, Puzzle, Notebook, Paper Clip.... banyakkkkk.... itu semua i told maseth to bring home and give pasalubong to all the kids.

Lepas gi sunway pyramid, kitorang terus shoot to Low Yat Plaza. Oneth nk beli laptop. He said it's cheap here compared to Philippines. Which is true. I myself couldn't believe it, sebab good specs u can get for RM1,600.

After buying notebook, we all tapau NASI LEMAK ANTARABANGSA. Ada dekat lebih 10 tahun aku tak masuk Kg Baru, sikit nyer jam.... tapi gua double park, tapau and chow.

Balik rumah, sumer sibuk ngan laptop....

Ini crita lain pulak....

The previous weekend, on our off day we all jalan2 street Chic Market kt Zouk KL. Since it's just behind Concorde Hotel, Mum came with Asu and Kyle and Ashraf, and we all walked to Matic. Every Sunday at Matic ada family fair.... Frm 9am - 3pm. Paling best si Kyle and Ashraf.... sebab ada clown and ada free balloons.

Lepas tu we head-on to Zouk KL. D bazaar was crammed with people. Dah la tmpt sempit, ramai orang pastu buat dalam disko hari Ahad, bau muntah, rokok, alkohol sumer cukup. Aku tak dapat nk tengok lama2 sebab x nak Kyle smell all the bullshit.

Kitorang pun kuar balik, tgk ada booth Yahoo! The girls convincing me to just sign-in Yahoo! and get free movie passes. Aku pun sign in and cabut 2 tag (the tag is actually an entry pass to YOUREKA party to be held today at Life Centre tapi aku keje so forget it)... lepas dapat the tag, the girl said "Congratulations, u are entitled for 2 free movie passes to watch 2012". Tak melompat aku? Hahahaha... tapi sampai harini still x dapat gi tengok lagi the movie. Takde masa arr....

On the day we got the news that my father-in-law was admitted into ICU, James and me were doing some shoe shopping at Times Square.

Since working in Concorde Hotel, we kena sing and sing and dance and dance and jump and be like a monkey who just saw a banana outside the cage!

Jadik, bila pakai boots yang tinggi macam devil-woman tu, macam tak kena lar pulak nak lompat or jadik gila macam monyet kelaparan!

As usual i pegi ke kedai faveret ku, i-Socks. Last month i bought 1 shoes from i-socks also. Itu kasut boots platform tinggi ar.... but i love to wear em....

Back to the shopping day at Times Square, i bought another pair of shoes. Sib baik still got sale, the shoes still 30% off. Macam biasa, my favourite salesgurl memang pandai melayan aku. Kalau niat nk beli boots saje, mesti ada benda lain aku beli sekali. Masa beli boots tinggi tu, pun sama gak. Niat nk beli boots je, in the end beli corset lar, beli stokin lar... ish ish... so, the time i bought the following shoes, i ended up buying a clincher the size of a World Wrestling Federation champion belt!!! Hahaha...

Owh, on the same day also i'm supposed to buy Nokia N86 but i changed my mind at the last minute sebab I wanted the N86 because of the 8MP camera. Buat apa aku nak beli handphone kalau semata2 nk use the camera je? In the end, i bought KODAK camera, 10.2 MP, can give good panorama picture. Handphone N86? Tak payah lar... handphone aku yg Nokia Classic 1680 ni pun jarang berbunyi! LOL.... Kalau sesekali bebunyi tu, kalau tak Mummy ku yang call, then, it must be HD.... :)

Sikit hari lagi, ntah2 phone ni akan ku turunkan pada Kyle. Skg ni dia dah pandai main PS2. Cakap phone pun dah pandai. Kalau aku ajar dia pakai phone, memang sah ini classic dapat kat dia. Ishhhhhhh....

RIP Tatay Lucrecio Sumilang

It all happened soooo fast. Tatay Lucring, my beloved father-in-law has passed away on 7 November 2009 at 5:30pm.

Just the week before he was talking on the phone with James and reminding us that his birthday is coming this 23 November, that he's turning 84 years old, that he was doing fine!

And on the 6th November (Friday), we received THE ONE call that we're afraid to answer!

The call that says Tatay Lucring is not feeling well!

More worst - when we got the call, they said he's in ICU. And what's even worst than more worst? HE HAS 24 HRS TO LIVE. He was on life support machine.

How did it happened? My sister-in-law doesn't even wana talk (either don't wana or cannot).

James were strong thruout the day & night since he found out about his father! His family told him to come home and they'll wait for him before they pulled out the machine. With our working schedule and our work, i told James, he has to go home.

Saturday morning at 10am, I checked the available flights to Manila, and since SUNDAY is our off day, the only available flight for James to take is Cebu Pacific flight at 0120hrs, 9th November (Monday). We were at the hotel and James walked to Wisma Cosway to purchased the flight tickets. Returning back to KUL on Tuesday 10th November, 2009 at 2055hrs.

Saturday makes us more tense. We're soooo takut to received any calls from Philippines.

BUT 1 hour before we start working (at 1745hrs, 7 november 2009), JAMES phone rang, and bila dia jawab, dia NANGIS, i knew already that TATAY LUCRING passed away...

I was putting on my make-up, down with tears, trying to be strong but i just couldn't.

That was 1 Saturday night that we were working and showing our happy face, but inside no one knows how sad we were!

Well.... the last time i saw Tatay was in May 2008, that was the trip James, Kyle and me had holiday for 1 week. That's the 2nd time Kyle saw Tatay at the age of 2. That's the 1 week that Kyle were soooo close with Tatay even though he never knew Tatay that well. That's the 1 week Nanay tried to carry, talk or play with Kyle but Kyle always run to Tatay.... It was all about KYLE and TATAY cos the other only time TATAY saw Kyle was when he was only 4 months old!

Let's pray for TATAY LUCRING ok.... MAY HE REST IN PEACE!

Losing and still countdown!

A quick one.....

After 1 month working in Crossroads, i nyer berat badan turun lagi (yeyhay!)

For the past 1 week i've been staying in the hotel and makan soooo much (since Kyle is staying with his granny in KL and Asu DoL is back to her MIL, no one is in the house!!!)

Now i'm on diet again :)

Have to lose more!!! 5 kilo lagi nk buang ni!!!!

I was on Nuffnang website last Monday, and saw the premiere screening of Phobia 2 blog!

Everytime when the part i sang "MAMA DO", i'll sure remember my son, Kyle.

Why?

Cos everytime when he play his PS2 game, when he reached the boss part (the part where you have to fight the BIG BOSS before you leveled up), he will surely call me, and told me "MAMA DO!"..... it's the way he said that makes me can't say no to him.... and sometimes when MAMA is busy, PAPA tried to help, Kyle would be angry cos he knows his PAPA doesn't know how to play PS2.... that's when he always argue with his PAPA and said "MAMA DO!" :))

Glad to see one of my BFFs, Putri at Concorde KL before i started performing for the 1st set. She was attending a function held by Suria FM (if i'm not mistaken it was 'Suria FM Open House') at the grand ballroom, Concorde Hotel KL.

It was a short meeting. She dropped by, said hi, and took picture with her Blackberry and straight send to Facebook.... hehehe.... advance betul kawan yang sorang ni.

Surprisingly working in Concorde now, was not that hard compared when we worked there in 2007.

We used to work from 6pm - 3am EVERYDAY.

There are 3 bands performing back to back in Crossroads Lounge.

1 from Philippines & 2 local band - B'Tru Band consists of 1 Filipino and 4 locals, but we are considered LOCAL band, OK!!!

Now Sunday & Monday, 8pm - 2am (4 sets per band) [2 bands each day]

Tuesdays - OFF DAY for B'Tru Band

Wednesdays & Thursdays - 7:15pm - 2am (3 sets per band)

Friday & Saturday - 6pm - 3am (4 sets per band)

Sound system is much much better now, alhamdulillah after i got my jab yesterday, my voice is slowly coming back!!!

Overall, i'm satisfied to make a COMEBACK!!! Weeeeeee...

Started working in Crossroads Lounge in Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur since 1st October 2009.

Aku, cam biasa, takdak suara becos of not enuff sleep. Kenapa tak cukup tido? Sebab aku tak boleh tido. Naper tak boleh tido? Jangan tanya kenapa!

B'Tru Band off days - every TUESDAYS (for the month of October, and according to the manager, every month we will rotate with the other 2 bands)....

So today, is my COTI-COTI day!

Woke up afternoon, went to settle hubby's working permit extension (since he's an ALIEN, he has to apply permit yearly!).

Then off to my favourite CLINIC MEDIVIRON, seeing my Doc, need not ask him for anything cos when he heard my voice, he already knew what to give me :))

After getting my "jab", went home, sleep, and then had dinner at Ayam Penyet RIA in Sunway Mentari. My gawd, the sambal super sedapppp.... Ehem ehem, yes i've been eating again since sunday!!! Tomorrow, back to diet diet diet!

Now, i'm going to do a little bit of practicing songs before i start playing SIMS 3.....

Moved here and there, and then we FLY!

After 3 months working from 1 place to another place, finally starting tonight we'll be landing safely in CONCORDE KL.

We return again to Concorde Hotel with the same band name - BTRU, but with new faces again. Hopefully this time the people are truly truly MALAYSIA..... LOL.

Mum is back staying with me, taking care of Kyle when i'm at work. She's getting better and better but still under medication.

ok... i gotta go and prepare myself for our first night gig at Crossroads.

After how many days i tried uploading, now only successful....

The last time i took videos of Kyle, i sendiri tak ingat lar. This video taken on 2nd day of Raya. We went to Times Square shopping after visiting mum at the hospital.

To keep him quiet while we went shopping, his papa bought him stickers of Ultraman. And before we went home, he said he wanted to eat pizza.

Saw a restaurant called VIVO at LG Floor. It was 9pm.

After ordering, while waiting for Kyle's Pizza, he kept asking me to put the stickers on his body...

I've got to say that the food is just OK.... I just tried 1 slice of Pizza and i still prefer Domino's :) and i'm sure Kyle would agree with me :))

Hubby said his food was OK too. I guess when ur hungry, lauk tak sedap pun boleh jadik nalerekek.

Satu jer i tak suka about the restaurant.... Dia nyer seating settings ntah hapa-hapa da.... Dah lar berterabur setting nyer... pastu d wall divider sikit nyer tinggi. Just imagine, we sat by the wall and the divider was so high that i have to raise my hand to call for the staff. Pastu bila nak bayar nyer time, again i raised my hand sikittttttttttt nyer lama cos the staffs tak alert! Karang aku siut mcm tikus tak syiok lar pulak ek?

Im not sure if i'll ever go back to the restaurant again!

Kali ni, gua nak kasik gempak sikit title entry post!

Ini berkenaan dengan activity aku yg sudah berkurangan di Fesbuk. Memandangkan orang ramai masih tergila-gilakan Fesbuk especially Farmville, i guess it's time to bocorkan soalan SPM tahun ni!!!

LOL (lots of love? Lots of laugh? laugh out loud? Lakiku orang London?)

Owh... minta maaf ya adik-adik.... jika adik mencari Soalan-Soalan bocor SIJIL PELAJARAN MALAYSIA 2009, adik telah SILAP.... SILAP BESAR! Adik-adik ingat senang-senang boleh GOOGLE ke soklan2 bocor SPM?

Maksud Soalan SPM Bocor di entry ini adalah SOALAN "SUKA PART MERAPU" BOCOR! Ataupun mungkin "SAYA PUNYA MEMO", or maybe "SIYA PAKISABI MO" (ha... ini bahasa tagalog) atau juga "SIAPA PUNYER MONEY" ehehehe.... lawak bodow dah aku bagi ni!
