Philippines trip 5 July 2012 - 16 July 2012

Its been 2 months plus, since my holiday back to the Philippines with my lovely family. This time, Mummy and Momma tagged along wit us. 1st time on flight for Laila Elena.

The following stories are mostly picture stories. Im just not in the mood to type an essay. Picture tells a thousand words. So there will be about more than 50 pictures in this post. Its more than 50 thousand words. U can standby eye-mo next to you, im afraid u might get teary eyes after scrolling down looking at the picture, wtf.

So here's da story of our vacation of the year!

Our flights to MNL on the 5th July 2012 at 1:20am. The plane leaves at 1am instead and we reached MNL at 4:30am. Earlier 30 minutes.

DAY 1

Sampai at 4:30am, 30 minutes earlier.

My sister-in-law knows we land at 5am, so we waited lepak2 tengok Resort World Hotel right opposite the airport.

5am, already bright in MNL. Our pick-up came around 5:30am. We stopped at San Pablo, ate Virgie's house for breakfast.

All of us were sleepy and tired. Makan sikit je, pastu terus gerak back to Tayabas.

Sampai Tayabas around 10:30am. Terus settled down, tido tido ayam jap. 

Bangun around 1pm, terus panggil tita Ina to clean my nails.

We stopped by ate Mercy's house and makan lunch sekejap. Lupa nak snap gambar masa kat rumah ate mercy la.

Lepas makan makan lunch (pancit lucban and some budin), we terus pegi ke Mainit Hot Springs, about 10 minutes away from Ate Mercy's house.

DAY 4
I tell u, 2nd day in the Philippines, i already gained weight. Mana taknya, adik beradik J ada 10 orang. Setiap hari ada je invitation to makan at their house. Kang x makan, kecik hati pulak.

So on day 4, we had lunch at Ate Mary's house. It's Sunday, Maseth and Oneth pun ada skali. But i didn't stay long sebab Laila pangit merengek nak tido je. And it's super hot weather.

Malam plak, we went to eat at Buddy's. Buddy's ni restaurant fast food yg serve Pancit Lucban (pronounced Pansit Lokban). Pancit ni mee. Mee dia mcm mee instant yg kering tu. Pastu digoreng bersama lauk ayam or seafood, and veges. No spicy. (orang pilipin kebanyakan mereka tak makan spicy!)

I'm missing my in-laws already. Sigh, don't know when's the next trip gonna be.

Demam has left the building, but flu is not flying away

1 thing i noticed about myself, kalau i sakit mesti lama.

I remember mummy told me before that, since i was a baby, if i get sick, mesti berhari-hari nak baik.

The last time i was sick in 2012 was 6 months ago. Now im sick again after catching colds from my guitarist who was sick last week. Lepas 2 hari my guitarist terus sihat. Bila dia sihat, i pulak kena sakit. Selsema and demam. Nasib baik batuk takde sangat. Mak pun nyanyi sengau2. Kalau ada batuk mmg xleh nyanyi langsung.

Kenapa tak amik mc kau tanya?
Ko ingat mak ni keje opis ke?
Insya'Allah selagi kaki ni boleh berdiri, mak akan tetap bekerja. Walaupun kejap-kejap wa toleh belakang buang hingus. Hehehe...

Alhamdulillah, ni dah masuk hari ketiga, demam is gone. Tapi selsema still sok sek sok sek.

Memang lama nak baik. My gitaris dah bergumbira bebas selsema after 2 days je.

Itu ler alkisahnya.
Kalau mak sakit, lamaaaaaaaa sakitnya.
Tapi kalu mak sihat, insya'Allah mak sihat sentiasa.

Kalau ada award utk "Employee of the Decade", mesti aku dpt sebab 12 tahun keje sebagai penyanyi kelab malam, 3 kali je mak amik cuti, itupun sumer sebab kena stomach flu sampai xleh bangun.

Muntah fishball

Da title is a little bit gross, i know.

But it actually brought tears to my eyes.

While eating this small bowl of fishball soup, i remembered my adik angkat, arwah Arif Nabil.

I was a drunken biatch at one time. I was.

And i remembered at 1 time wen me and arwah always partying clubbing drinking, how good he took care of me. Yes, i got drunk till i vomit and get hangover.

Yes, i was.

And i remembered 1 time before went out drinking wit arwah, i had dinner. I had yong tau foo at uptown DU.

After dinner we went drinking and that nite i overdosed drinking and i vomit came out all the fishballs i had during dinner.

And that happens way back somewhere in 1994 or 1995.

He took good care of me. Sent me home, put me to bed and went home.

And the next day i called him, he laughed and laughed about my muntah fishball.

And it doesn't stop there.

Everytime i called him, or i saw him, he will laugh and laugh about the incident. Year after year after year. He always makes me blushing.

Even wen da last time i talked to him, few months before he passed away, he still talked about muntah fishball.

Now as im typing this in front of my fishball soup, i remembered how arwah laugh at me. I have teary eyes now and i hope arwah ditempatkan di kalangan orang orang yang soleh di sisi Allah swt.

OPPA GANGNAM STYLE FENOMENA

Sejak Opah Oppa Gampang Gangnam Style ni menular di laman sosial youtube dua minggu lepas, tak dinafikan terasa jugak fenomena nyer sehingga ke Patio Bar. 

Masya'Allah, masa Gangnam Style ni memula aku dapat tau, is from my son. Yes, from Mikail. As usual everytime i'm at home, i always put to KPOP video channel. Come out this song (i wasn't paying attention to the video), Kyle and Laila was actually moving their body to the song. 

Then the next day, keluar pulak kat radio Hitz FM. And Kyle again telling me, "MUMMY, THIS IS THE SONG! I LIKE THIS SONG!"

I tell you when Kyle start to like 1 song, even a return trip to Melaka we can hear that 1 song all the way in the car!

Ok, back to Gangnam Style in Patio, everynite since the song became famous, there will surely got request upto 8 times per set. 

J did a quick practice, we girls did a quick dance practice, and on monday 2 weeks ago, we deliver  the song. And i tell you, everytime the music start playing, the crowd went crazy screaming and clapping. And crazy as hell cos wen we finished singing to the song, people screaming for a repeat.

And yesterday, not only scream for a repeat, they even gave us money (RM100) to the repeats!!! Just imagine the song is on a repeat to and fro malacca and every repeats i get money? BAPAK KAYA! Wtf.

So, baru semalam we managed to take video of our performance.

I'd like to say credit to KPOPDANCETUTORIALS for the great dance choreography. People really enjoyed us bouncing up and down! Hahahaha...

The last time i bought a handbag and a purse was back in December 2011. I bought Carlo Rino at a discounted price cos it was end of year SALE and it was a treat for my birthday present (yes, i bought my own present!)

Now it's already September. Maknanya dah sembilan bulan takde beli handbag baru. Actually i thought of getting a wristlet. Pastu pikir punya pikir punya pikir, i ni ada anak kecik lagi. Kekadang nak kena dukung si pangit tu and then dengan diaper bags lagi, acaner nk carry the wristlet, ya tak?

So i decided to get a sling bag also. The Carlo Rino i bought was also a sling bag tapi besar la. Ni kali i said i want a small one. 

Jenjalan kat One Utama. Masuk Bershka, tak cantik. Lepas tu masuk Guess, terus tersangkut kat situ. Pilih pilih pilih, i decided to take the sling bag from their new collection. It's synthetic leather, only RM199. Pastu i amik small wallet skali. The same design with the sling bag ada defect sikit. So paling close dengan design sling bag tu ada weaving design. Purple color. That's the closest. It's only RM159. Beli 2 barang SA tu kasik 10% discount. 

 Sling bag tu ngam2 masuk purse kecik tu plus my SGNote and my Blackberry TORCH.

Cukup la.....

Bulan depan kita pi carik beg besar again ya! LOL

Beg GUESS tu gua beli masa offday lepas. 3 hari lepas.

Now, di lain hari pulak, (actually harini!), aku selak selak belek belek magazine EH!, nampak la satu MASCARA yang aku rasa memang patut aku beli, sebab the last time aku beli Mascara was back in April. Selalunya aku beli Silky Girl Lash Curler Waterproof Film Mascara. Tapi that mascara selalu sold out. Maybe sebab murah and good kot. So i bought Silky Girl Hi-Definition Waterproof Mascara. Ni dah 5 bulan dah, actually still boleh pakai tapi dia tak kasik lentik sangat. 

Mascara ni actually aku pakai masa hari yang aku malas pakai false eye lashes time pegi keje. I guess i have to try another brand pulak. And i read in the magazine, the mascara is sold in SaSa. 

Aku pun pergi ler ke Sa Sa First World Hotel ni. Tapiiiiii, the ones in the magazine sudah SOLD OUT gak. It's called Dejavu Fiberwig Extra Long Mascara sold at RM49 (np RM59).

Whispers of love

Got a surprise wen i woke up today and saw notifications from fb that my hasben tagged my name.

Still in bed, i opened and saw a picture conversation between husband and wife.

I fell so i love with him cos he's never been the type that says "i love you" out loud, what more in facebook.

In fact its kinda hard to hear him say the 3 words. Lol.

So being the cheeky me, i decided to reply to him with a joke.

A joke thats been going around in fb during ramadhan only. A joke about the tvc from yusuf taiyoob dates. A joke where they always whisper the name, its like haunting everyone.

And when i showed him what i replied, we both laff and laff.

Macam cendawan baru tumbuh lepas hujan, i kept seeing sd2 been promoted giler2 on fesbuk and twitter. Some even posts pictures on instagram.

As expected, bila x keje je, mesti badan ni kembang semangkuk.

Apatah lagi baru balik from philippines. Dah la mak mertuaku byk sawah padi, so bila menuai beras, berkampit2 dia dapat. Jadinya, tak sah kalau dari breakfast, ke lunch, ke minum petang, ke makan malam, nasik lah yang akan dihidangkan.

Kang tak makan, mak mertuaku merajuk (ya, pernah terjadi d last time aku balik kampung).

So nak jaga hati dia punya pasal, makan je la nasik tu.

Tambah lagi ngan cheese begitu murah kat sana. Habih makan nasik, makan pulak roti ngan cheese spread.

Bila balik je Malaysia from 2 weeks holiday kat Pinas, sambung plak bercuti ke Penang.

Nak buat apa lagi? Gelak je la. Nasib baik the next day tu puasa.

Puasa puasa gak, tp berat badan ni sama je.

So i call lah 1 of my fren yang kebetulan selling sd2.

Lepas bbm and watsapp, transfer duit, yesterday 24 july 2012, i dapat the milk sent by poslaju.

So today, baru 1st day amik the milk. Time puasa can take 3 times je. Supposed 4 times daily.

Rasanya mcm milk, for me yang x minum susu ni masa memula drink terus rasa cam sakit. Hahaha... i remember the masa pregnant kat mikail dulu aku minum susu anmum, pun sama gak feelingnya. Lepas minum rasa sakit.

But only the 1st time. Now dh ok dh. So used to the smell and taste!

For only rm180 (promo price), i get 1 can of milk + 2 shakers and a urine scan strip (after 4 days when wake up, check urine. The strip should turn to pink color.)

So... jom diet bersama2. Leave a comment if you also wana lose weight.
