Ok… Jalan TAR (bukan tar hitam ☻ buat jalan tu ya!), is one of the tourist attraction place in KL. It’s full of colors, culture and as always… full of PEOPLE!

Go on Saturday, there’s pasar malam (night market). It’s usually crowded especially at night (dah nama pun pasar malam… duh!).

I sebenarnya tak berapa minat jalan kat Jalan TAR sebab too kecoh many people tapi since i’ve been doing a lot of DIY thingy, situ lar tempatnyer kalau kita nak membeli barang² DIY.

Ok… here’s a secret i found out that i’m going to share to you guys if you’re going to Jalan TAR by CAR but don’t know where to park! (i guess no more secret after this lor)

Let’s say you wanna go to SEMUA HOUSE building. Cos that’s the centre to the surrounding areas. But too lazy to go thru the jam just to park your car at Semua House. Some open parking charged RM8 on weekends.

Well… i just found out that U SHOULD PARK YOUR CAR at CAPSQUARE. It’s only RM2. Since not many people know about CAPSQUARE carpark, usually weekends A LOT of empty space. And it’s only RM2!

No hassle to go to Capsquare too.

After parking just cross the road, and ur near to semua house and the surrounding areas.

  and the famous SOGO shopping complex..

  special sale for SOGO members on that day! Luckily i’m not a member…

  JALAN TAR is mostly famous for a selection of …..kain ela, kain tudung, kain telekung.

    since i was young till i have a son, outside GLOBE SILK STORE sure ada entertainment by some BLIND PEOPLE… NOT FREE OK… DONATE SOME MONEY PLEASE!!!

SO NOW U KNOW WHY I DONT REALLY LIKE TO GO JALAN TAR ON A WEEKENDS ESPECIALLY SATURDAY???

HOW TO MAKEUP RED & BLACK SMOKY EYE

One of the makeups i love to do everytime (always) i go to work...

I first do this makeup during halloween 2009. They said i looked gothic. Hahah... its more like GO-THICK... get it???

Sorry... halfway thru the video, the audio is gone....

I just bought a set of mascara at Daiso (RM5 each).... you have to start with the styling first and then apply the mascara. It has a range of curling, volume, and long lash mascara. I chose the curling. It doesn't curl much but with the help of my shu uemura curler, it's just NICE!

But to me, wearing makeup everynight to work and only using em for 4 - 5 hours max, i dont need a waterproof or an expensive makeup. Unless i do functions which can last up to 6-8 hours, yes, i'll use a waterproof mascara....

Lesung Tumbuk

Kisah yang aku nak cerita kali ni, pasal lesung tumbuk.

Sebenarnya sekarang ni, kalau dalam bandar memang susah nk carik lesung tumbuk. Ada jual kat hypermarket, tapi batu nyer macam berderai. Tak boleh ku bayangkan kalau aku tengah tumbuk bawang, tetiba tercampur ngan batu tu skali. Nanti masakan aku akan bagi food poisoning pulak.

Ada blender tapi malas nk kuarkan blender yg besar tu from the top cabinet, nak connect wayar. MALAS LECEH.

Mungkin juga sebab aku ni ‘OLD SKOOL’? To me, aku ingat lagi masa kecik dolu, selalu nyebok nk tumbuk bawang & cili & ikan bilis (sebab mummy ku nyer nasi goreng rumah memang delicious!).

I was lucky that my late aunty Mak Uda ada 3 lesung tumbuk and my mummy took 1 from her house and gave it to me. I hope arwah tak kisah aku amik sebab mummy kata kalau tak amik nanti benda tu dok diam jer kat dapur umah arwah. Hmmm…

I was happy that i have my beloved aunty’s lesung tumbuk. She was one of my favourite aunty. I remember she has a BIG-HUGE-BESAR mole just on top of her upper lips. And everytime i saw her, i’ll ask her to give me ‘taik lalat’. And she will say “Come here! Nah amik taik lalat ni!’ , and she’ll pretend to put it on my cheeks. And this happened EVERYTIME i see her. So imagine lar berapa banyak mole aku ada sampaikan nampak cam freckles daaa….(aku suka kt mole Lisa Stansfield!)

E’eh… terbabas cerita pasal taik lalat pulak…. ok back to lesung tumbuk, aku totally GEMBIRA bila dapat FREE. Hehehe… sebenarnya bukan pasal FREE, tapi pasal memang susah nk mencari dalam kota metropolitan sekarang.

Jadik…. kalau aku masak, memang aku suka menumbuk pakai LESUNG. Puas hati. Boleh exercise tangan skali.

Sampaikan anak aku yang 4 tahun tu pun, suka nyebok bila nampak aku menumbuk. HOW CAN I SAY NO when he said “MAMA, I DO I DO!!” Sigh….

Studded Brooch - 1st ORDER

James wore my studded shoulder brooch today to work, and the bosses (gurls) from the headquarters office were at the Club last night cos of the CLUB MANAGER's birthday party. Madam Juliana & Ly-Ann saw the brooch on James shoulder and they fell in love with it. James told them, i did them with my hands and voila, the next thing i know they wanted to order from me!

So i guess i'll be busy designing more shoulder brooch!

errrr…. i gotta say thanks to AIN for encouraging me to start my own label but…. these things i do are just for buang masa fun. Who knows mabee 1 day i’ll give it a shot! =)

I mimpi i kuar dating ngan hubby and makan kaki babi malam tadi, so what does that mean? I googled for tafsiran mimpi online, got mention about babi which means something good happening to me, but none about makan! Hmmmm….

Makeup tutorial Video 1

I was inspired to do this makeup tutorial video by WiwitAnggun23 (catch her on youtube here), a makeup artist from Singapore whom i met a month ago when i was working in Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur. At the time, i didn't even know she's a makeup artist. After knowing her thru FB, she actually did a great job with all the makeup....

Btw.... a lot of my frens has been asking me to do video tutorial on makeup.... being a singer at night, i usually play with lots of colors on my face!

So i gave it a shot yesterday, before going to work. I took a video. Made a few mistakes (using the wrong brush), disturbed by my son, Kyle and also hubby came out from toilet with a towel only (luckily he's NOT NAKED)....

but i edited the video.... and somehow it was cut before i put the blusher and lipstick. Well, what the heck, it's my 1st trial taking video....

I'm gonna take video again later before work, and will mabee post it again on my blog, tmrw, maybe!

After putting up my DIY Studded Hairbands on FB, my sisters asking me to do one for them... but they're asking for 1 with feather which my sister saw selling at KLCC at RM109.00.... WTF? 1 bulu ayam on a hairband costs RM109?? hmmm... i told my sister no need to buy cos i'll make 1 for her.... SOON! (aku pun baru beli feather duster bulu ayam kt Mydin minggu lepas RM3.60sen jer, boleh aku cabut bulu tu and taruk atas hairband!!! LOL)

My next project supposed to be a studded shoulder pads... i've done the base for the shoulder pads, thanks to tutorial on TONGUE IN CHIC, but i have no material to cover them bras...

Esok coti, so esok i'm going to KL Semua House to buy the materials !!!
