Just some photos....

I've been busy updating my blog to make it look more nicer. I love Yellow so much, that i search only yellow background templates. Finally i found one that's just nice.

I've also been busy editing pictures and making it into a movie (if i don't make it to collage),

Below, I wanna share some photos that i've edited ....

I'm still editing Lil Guwapo's video. Once i'm done, i'll post on this blog....

Owh and i love the song So What by Pink.

da-vass, da-boom

Ramadhan came again! Although today is already the 14th day we puasa, this year's fasting month wasn't the same as the previous year....

I had food poisoning after buying food at the ramadhan bazaar last week on Sunday. Since we started working at Kelab Puchong United, we had the whole weekends off. On Saturday we had buka puasa at the steamboat buffet in Sunway. It was marvelous. All of us were there except for mom and dad (they came back to Malaysia on Monday, 8th September, night!).

On Sunday we decided to buka puasa at Kanna's Curry House. It has been quite some time since i last ate rice on banana leaves. So we were there a bit early. We decided to visit the ramadhan bazaar at Section 17, since it's just nearby the restaurant. I bought tau-foo-fa and a pack of fried meehoon for my sahur. After buying, we headed back to the Curry House. Buka puasa was very satisfying.

The same night before i went to sleep, i ate the pack of meehoon that i bought at the bazaar at Section 17. It tasted weird, not spoilt but sweet. It's like eating a sugar candy but meehoon type. Hahaha... After half pack gone, i decided to stop eating. Then i ate the tau-foo-fa i bought. Again the taste so funny. Hmmm.... after a few scoops, i threw everything out.

So monday went by as usual as the normal days. We were all at home, watching tv, me busy with facebook-ing and myspace-ing. Pogi busy with editing songs. Came 6 o'clock, my stomach started to feel very very upset. I thought it's gastric, so i burped and burped and burped. Rubbed some hot oil around my tummy, but it's still painful. In fact it's getting worst. I was still fasting, trying to stop my burping. In the end, 10 minutes before buka puasa, i burped till i vomit. Dang!!!! After vomiting, i felt more uneasy. Body started to feel pain. Headache, but i still have to go to work.

At 8:15pm, my tummy's still upset. Growling sounds started to came out! We reached at the Kelab 8:30pm and the moment i stepped in the pub, the air cond was so strong that i shivered. I ran to the CR, stayed for a moment (cos it's warm!), and told myself, how long am i gonna stay in the CR, cos in the end i have to go on stage and perform.... so i brave myself to go out from the CR, shivering, and felt very very sick. I told Seri, i felt im gonna get fever.

..... and i DID!

Not only fever, but the next day, Tuesday, i had diarrhea and was always vomiting. At times, the two happened at the same time...

Shoot!!! .....and Tuesday is the day MOM & DAD came back home.

Was feeling terrible but still went to see both parents in the morning. After chatting a while (cos i saw mum & dad started to have jet-lag!), we went home in the afternoon, i was getting worst, ..... took some medicine, rested on bed. Thought i'll be ok by night to go to work. I was wrong. The sickness is getting worst and terrible. I kept going to the CR.

Suddenly the comfort room is my bestfren :D

To cut the story short, that night i still went to work, still in pain.

I still didn't go to see doctor on Wednesday. My fever was on and off but diarrhea and vomiting was non-stop. Skipped work that night. Asked Abg Joe to replaced me, but on Thursday at 4pm is the worst when my temperature goes as high as 40 degrees celsius. I was SHIVERING, my fingernails turned blue black, i felt soooo cold. That's when i decided to go see the doctor, got an injection, and some medications. Went home and rest again. Still couldn't eat anything. Temperature went down. I felt a little ok till 12 midnight, i hit the toilet again.

On Friday, i was feeling much much better, and i went to work feeling good and THINNER!!! Ahaks...

:D

Merdeka 2008

Woohoo.... thank god i'm getting better from my 2 months sickness. My voice is slowly coming back especially my falsetto, but am still afraid to sing the high songs. Must wait till fully recovered maa...

Yippee.... thank god, B'Tru Band's 3 months stint at W**** Ar**** Hotel PJ will be ending tonight! 4 more sets to work at W**** and we'll be gone from the 'h**l' ! Ahaks :P

I usually go thru Merdeka Eve as usual like the other days in the year, but somehow this time, we're really looking forward to the day. For the 1st time, we just want to finish the contract asap. Usually we feel a little bit sad leaving the workplace but not this time. W*** is like a place where you don't want to be! There's a lot of hypocrites, lots of topek staffs except for Ramlan and August and Masri, bad Chi**** GROs (not that i'm against any Chi****).

I don't want/like to talk about the place so much. It doesn't do me any good at all. Nada. Nunca.

At the moment i'm busy creating blogs for B'Tru Band. Check http://btruband.blogspot.com/ for updates of the band. Do also visit www.myspace.com/btruband.

Last but not least, to all Malaysians, Happy Merdeka to y'all. And to all Muslims in Malaysia and around the world, Selamat Berpuasa.

Things happen for a reason

It's been quite a while i didn't write. Since my last post, i've been sick till this morning when i feel a little bit better. For over a month, i've been having sore throat and my voice was terrible. This morning when i woke up, i had nose block. After blowing my nose (just don't imagine what came out!), i felt so much better. I guess all the dry phlegm that was stuck in my throat has come out thru my nose this morning! Maybe the long hours of sleeping helps too...

So much had happened to me lately. The secrets about the car accident to my parents dah bocor last saturday! We had to. (Will post about the accident next time. )

I had stopped my booze drinking since last Friday. Maybe all this while i've been drinking that makes my voice terrible. For the first time in 5 months (since i got miscarried!), i performed very very sober on Friday and Saturday. Drank only water. Hahaha... Pogi was so happy. But i guess it's good too when i drink only water.

Little Guwapo has a new passion with music. I brought him along to practice last week and put him on the drum set and letting him play the drums. He's good, i mean, it's not that hard to hit the drums, but seeing him hitting the snare and the high hat with his left hand, i know that this boy will play an instrument 1 day! But i prefer him playing keyboard or guitar. Less noise.

Ketuk, jangan tak ketuk drum tu!!

Ada rupa Tommy Lee tak??? Hmmm....

I've changed my hair color last month, to purple with highlights. And also bought contact lens aqua and velvet color. Wah wah wah.... glamour ngan kaler aku ni!!! Ahaks.

Wearing velvet color contacts to match my hair!

Today i bought some baju and kasut raya for Little Guwapo. I guess there will be nothing for either Pogi or me cos we don't need any new baju for raya! Last year's baju raya pun pakai sekali jer...

But this year Pogi decided to buy new baju melayu and this year's raya color will be yellow! Chiss... i've no yellow baju kurung that means i've to buy a new one??? I think this year i'll buy blouse only... wear with pants. Modern ma....

I'm sick of being sick.... :(

I have been sick since Monday 7th July 2008. I didn't have any cough or colds, but my voice was husky and no air coming out.... just like the song 'No Air'. When a singer like me has no voice, i'm still ok with it, but when i don't have my falsetto voice, that's when the sickness gets worst....

To me, if i don't have voice, i can still sing a low note songs, but when the falsetto voice is gone, how can i sing the song which has mixed of original and false voice. Or what about the songs that i backed-up with full false voice? Example, Bohemian Rhapsody? Surely dead... or ashamed!

From Monday to Thursday, we didn't received any request for Bohemian song! Friday and Saturday, there's this one guy called Bobby kept requesting for Bohemian. I told Pogi i can't sing the back-up but this Bobby still insisting for us to sing or he won't come back again for a visit. Shoot... we can't say NO so i told Pogi, i'll try my best. We sang.... and boohoohoo... my parts was left out cos i've no falsetto! Dang....

Ok... Sunday came and had a good rest.... took a new yaya for Lil Guwapo from Philippines. A 28 year old girl with 2 kids. 1st day when she was with us, i brought her to Tesco, bought some groceries. Then when we reached home, she started cleaning out the house, sweeping, mopping, do the laundry, changing the bedsheets, cooking.... wow... she can even cook nasi lemak and sambal udang.... senang la keje aku! ahaks...

She eats spicy food too. Good... at least i have someone in the house eating spicy.... ya'ay!

Yesterday, Monday morning, woke up with breakfast on table. Fried rice with sausages and eggs... ya'ay!

Afternoon, we went to shopping in Sunway Pyramid with Asu and Ashraf and Sofia and Pogi and Lil Guwapo and Yaya tagging along....

Shopped at MAC.... bought a foundation, a fix powder and a lipstick and the money from the lipstick goes to charity, so i did a charity to the Aids Foundation.

After shopping, we went to Aman and Yaya cleaned my nails. Wow... she can even do nails cleaning!!! Another ya'ay for her!!!

Night time when it's time for us to go to work, i left Yaya and Lil Guwapo in Aman with my sisters....

And today when i woke up, everything turned out OK!

Lil Guwapo slept with Yaya the whole night.

Today, my falsetto still don't have.... huhuhuhu....

I'm so so in love with ONE TREE HILL

When i was in Penang last month, i bought some dvds at the feringhi beach night market. The dvds i bought are tv series for desperate housewives season 5 part 1, prison break complete season 4 and gossip girl season 1 part 1. They sold the dvd for RM4 per cd, and every tv series complete season supposedly has 5 cds. So when i watched Desperate Housewives, they only have 3 cds in it. Then i thought, ok... i've finished the whole season 5. So i continued with Gossip Girl and after watched the whole 3 cds, i thought again that i've finished the whole season. Then Asu borrowed the dvds.... and suddenly she said she noticed something missing. She saw the preview on 8TV there's a continuation for the Desperate Housewives! I thought she was joking cos the last episode on the 3rd cd for desperate housewives was when Wisteria Lane got hit by a tornado. Asu told me that the preview on 8TV showed that Carlos is blind and etc etc etc. So i checked again the dvds and noticed that it's written Season 5 Part 1, 3 cds. Meaning there should be Season 5 Part 2...

So i wasn't quite satisfied and i went to the DVD shop in Aman Suria D'sara, and asked for tv series DVD. And guess what? I was right, they have Desperate Housewives Season 5 Part 2 DVDs. And they're selling for RM9 per cd and there's 2 cd in Part 2.... Very expensive compared to Penang. So i bought the Part 2 cds for Desperate Housewives and Gossip Girl.

So after a few days watching Desperate Housewives and Gossip Girl marathon, i went back to the DVD shop and this time i saw One Tree Hill Season 5. They have 5 cds and it's RM45. I bought it, and was hooked on it.

I've been watching One Tree Hill since the 1st season, and i really like to watch Chad Michael Murray aka Lucas Scott in Tree Hill.

The last time i watched One Tree Hill Season 4 was when i downloaded from internet last 2 years. And i remembered the last episode was when they graduated from their Tree Hill High School.

So Season 5 was more on their love and life after high school. Brooke was a successful fashion designer, Peyton Sawyer was still struggling in LA working with a major recording company, Lucas Scott became a famous writer.

The best part was Luke wrote the 1st book about him and Peyton.... oh gawd... if i wanna write about the whole season.... it's gonna be damn long!

So i'm not gonna tell u about the whole story, but i just wanna write here, on the last episode of Season 5, Luke called 3 girls that he had fallen in love that is Brooke, Peyton and Lindsey (new girl on Season 5) and he was a the airport at the time, and talking on the phone asking one of the girls to marry him in Las Vegas because he has 2 tickets to Las Vegas.

So who did he called?

Definitely not me! **blushing**

Now my mind has been thinking how's it gonna be in Season 6. When is it coming out? End of this year? Next year? I can't waittttt anymore. I have to find out what happened to Peyton...

Actually i pitied to Peyton in Season 5. She was hoping that Luke would come back to her after she said "Maybe" to him when he proposed to her. She should have said "YES"....

One Tree Hill shows that 1st LOVE never die....

Shoot... i've nothing else to say here!

another trip and working time!!!

When we were in the Philippines, i did gained a few pounds from eating all the rice that my mother-in-law served us from breakfast till dinner. So when we came back to KL, i totally cut down my meals. Breakfast with oats, lunch and dinner with just a slice of bread. Did a lot of "u-zapping". Crunch and push-ups on stability ball. In just 3 days, i shed a few pounds.... success, but we went to Penang after that. So u guessed it right, how can you resist all the food in Penang. Nasi Kandar Kg.Melayu? Rojak Khaleel? Char Kuey Teow Gurney Drive? Line Clear? Roti Bun Kaya Butter Kg.Melayu? Arrr... don't care la with my weights. I can exercise again when we come back from Penang.

We encountered a few problems and such in Mar Vista, the place we stayed in Penang. After we've checked-in, we found out that Mar Vista is no more a resort which opens to the public. It has turned out to be a fully residency area. So, believe it or not, the stupid management did take our money even though they're not supposed to do that. And they stupidly told us that we can't park in front of the apartment, and the parking space for visitors are outside the building, very far. Arrghhh... at first we ignored them. We still parked inside. Then minute after minute the security came and told us to park our car outside. I almost had a fight with them. I told them i was there for holiday but it's a disaster. So to calm us down, we decided to go out makan-makan. Went makan at Khaleel, and line clear. Line clear dah jadik tak sedap totally!

Acik and family (except for Along who's working till late) came to visit us at Mar Vista. So we all went out together and before they go home, they had to pick up Along at her workplace at 12:30 midnight. We chit-chat till late in Mar Vista, from the kitchen to the stairs going down to the rooms. Somehow a weird thing happened at the stairs. We were all talking and suddenly Lil Guwapo pointed to the store room which is under the stairs. He kept pointing and laughing and pointing again and running. He's acting weird. You know people said that escpecially kids can see 'ghosts' and such. Acik joked that Lil Guwapo really did saw 'something'. We just ignored. So they all then moved upstairs. Then Pogi called me and showed me his handphone. He showed me 2 picture he took while we were talking at the stairs.

As u can see, that the 1st pic Pogi took got a white shadow. So he took again, and there's no shadow. So is it something weird? That night we slept with the lights on and im really close to Pogi. Spooky arr.

The next morning, we woke up early cos Lil Guwapo suddenly wake up crying so much. Since we already woke up, we decided to have breakfast at Kg Melayu. Ordered the 'nalereke' nasi kandar. Finger licking good. Bought a few packs of fried meehoon, some kaya buns. Breakfast like a king! Hahaha... abih lar diet aku!

Afternoon we went to Lorong Kulit, bought Euro 2008 t-shirts. Then to Prangin Mall, makan lunch at Sushi King (the place where Along and Boboy working!). We had 8 plates of dishes but Along charged only 4 plates. Lucky me.

Night time pulak, we had dinner at Gurney Drive. Makan sotong bakar, kerang rebus, char kuey teow, pai tee. Hmmm... never mind my diet.

So the next day, breakfast again at Kg.Melayu. We even tapau nasik kandar and nasi tomato and meehoon goreng, for my lil sister who didn't get to join us.

After tapau, and saying bye-bye to Achik and family, we drove back home. It was raining so it took us 5 hours to reach home.

Hmmm... balik jer terus makan the tapau we had. I'm gonna missed all the food. Don't know when we can go again to Penang. Probably next year....

And Mama Lin finally told us that she felt spooky too when she passed the storeroom under the stairs in Mar Vista, but she didn't want to tell me earlier, afraid that i'm really really scared! Which i did!!

Now, it's been a week since we started working at the Wharf, Armada Hotel PJ. The place is ok. Crowd good. Drinks cheaper than Holiday Villa. Our regular guest in Holiday Villa now started to hang out in Wharf. They said Alleycats are bored!

One month we didn't work, we totally forgot most of the songs. Hehehe....

Now i'm busy again with u-zapping and stability ball exercise. Sigh.... and later, we're gonna have soundcheck again.

1st Philippines Trip for Lil Guwapo

The trip that i've been waiting for has finally arrived. On Sunday night at 10pm, 11 May 2008, we checked in at the LCCT airport to fly to Manila. Our flight is scheduled at 12:50am, on Cebu Pacific air. The flight was smooth but the aircraft was pretty small. Lil Guwapo was very naughty while we took off. He doesn't want to sit down. After 30 minutes in the air, all of us fell asleep. In the aircraft, there's another passenger with a small baby and the baby kept crying the whole journey. So just imagine our sleeping was disturbed by the crying. Sigh...

In the airplane on the way to Manila, 12 May 2008, 12:50am.

At 5am we landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila. My in-laws, Tatay Lucrecio and Nanay Juliana were waiting excitedly for us. Ate Ruth and Kuya Edwin were with them too. After 'bless' (cium tangan) and 'beso-beso' (cheek kissing), we went straight to Ate Virgie's house in San Pablo for breakfast. After eating some fried rice and fried tilapia, we headed back home to Tayabas. It took us about 3 and a half hours to reach Tayabas from the airport. The 1st day in Tayabas, we just slept the whole afternoon. As usual when we're in Philippines, Nanay always served us rice for breakfast, lunch, tea-time or dinner. They have a huge land full of rice field and coconut. So rice has never been a problem to the family.

Kyle in Tayabas, 2008. On the jeepney, one of the favourite transport in the Philippines.

Our following days in Tayabas has been packed with tight schedule. I've told Pogi earlier that during this trip, i want to have full activities in Tayabas. Some of the activities are a must for me like doing my mani pedicure. This time the price has increased to Peso 80. That's about RM7 only. It used to be only Peso 50 only. But i don't mind cos in KL i still have to pay 80 but in ringgit.

The house where Nanay Juliana and Tatay Lucrecio Sumilang stayed since 1964. Soon it'll be our house. Probably by 2009. (Does that mean we're moving to Philippines????)

We had dinner at Kamayan Sa Palaisdaan with Ate Abeth's family. The place is very nice, surrounded by a nice lake while the dining tables under huts which is floating on the lake! Woohoo... cool place. Special about the place is that you have to eat using your hands. There's no fork and spoon.

Dinner at Kamayan Sa Palaisdaan. Famous for the tilapia fish. Must eat with hands. No fork and spoon.

We did a lot of shopping in SM Lucena City and Metro Plaza. Lucky for us it's summer sale. Everything was so cheap. Shoes, handbags, blouses, jeans, caps. Not forgetting Lil Guwapo's basketball jerseys. They're just so cute. Bought 'pasalubong' for the whole family too!

Lil Guwapo with Lolo and Lola, on our last day in Manila.
22 May 2008

Before we left, we bought a lot of corned beef, Eden cheese, ChizWhiz spread and beef loaf. In the end, our baggage was so heavy.

We really enjoyed staying in Tayabas. Even thought Lil Guwapo wasn't nice to everybody except Tatay Lucreng, but in the end, at the airport, he's nice to Nanay Juliana. He kissed and hugged and at the end, he pulled Nanay's hair. LOL.

Checking in at the Manila airport was smooth, but our flight was delayed 1 and half hours. We reached KL 2am sharp.

Hmmm... next week we planned to go Penang.... tired!!!

And also i've to do my strict diet. I've gained so so much pounds, from all the rice that Nanay feed us!!!! I can't say NO to Nanay. She even said (in a drama kind of way!), "I feel SAD if you don't eat RICE!".... :(

Sunday, May 4, 2008

We started our holiday on the 1st May 2008. It's kinda like having a one month break from continuous bookings. 1st May was a public holiday. Labour day. We did nothing much on that day. Stayed home. The weather was so hot that the air-condition now always on from afternoon till night.

At night we went out to buy milk for Lil Guapo. I changed my shirt before going out to a nicer shirt. Before we went to find milk, we went to tapau some food at KJ Tomyam Seafood, next to the big Giant. After finish "tapauing", we went to the small Giant to buy lil guapo's milk and some other stuff. After paying we head home straight. Once i reached home, as i was washing the dishes i noticed at my sleeve a lot of thread coming out. THEN... i found out that i've been going out with my shirt inside out! Huhuhu.... ngahahaha.... No wonder the girl at the food stall kept staring at me! Hahahaha.... What a night....

The next day, Friday, we went to take Monorail ride from Tun Sambanthan to Raja Chulan. Our plans today is to buy the flight ticket back to Philippines. Lil Guapo was very quiet when on board the monorail. Very very behaved. Once at the Cosway Plaza, we bought our tickets, and then we take a stroll at Pavilion. It was just opposite Cosway Plaza and very huge. We went straight to the food court. Found a place to sit, order from a stall that was not much people ordering. The food was good. The price, quite expensive. After makan, we head home again.

Today, we woke up early to go mandi at Sungai Gabai. The trip going to Hulu Langat took us about 1 hour. Once reached we had lunch then mandi manda. After 15 minutes mandi mandi, suddenly raining da.... Alamak spoil. We took a short break. Then the rain getting heavy and heavy. After a while, i told Asu, let's just hit the 'jacuzzi'. The waterfalls was so strong that i made it like a jacuzzi. After 4 hours mandi mandi in the rain, we went home. On the way home, i dropped off Pogi at the train station so he could go for his weekly massage.

Picnic at Sungai Gabai 3 May 2008

Foot scrubbing anyone???

Tomorrow Sunday. No plans yet! Hmmm... what are we gonna do on a Sunday?

Yaay... Philippines here we come.... Swoosh....

We went for audition for the next booking in June at Wharf Armada Hotel last Thursday and the results supposed to come back by yesterday, Monday.

As we wake up in the morning, with a little bit of morning praying, everything was like a normal Monday morning, with Little Guapo moving so much in his sleep in between Pogi and I. I didn't sleep properly, with me constantly checking little guapo cos when he sleeps, he doesn't use any blanket. With the air-condition on, i was afraid his 2 small feet will feel cold thru the night. And everytime Little Guapo crash with us (which is once a week only!), every morning when he wakes up, he'll just disturb me, either my nose or opening my eyes. He's my sunshine, and the best part is when i opened my eyes, he gave me his cutest smile!

So the morning busy doing a little laundry, cleaning, checking e-mails, facebooking, and suddenly Pogi received the most important call... and the call started like this....

"Good Morning James, Congratulations!
You're confirmed working in Armada Hotel in June 2008!"

The call came from Sharon from PR dept, Armada Hotel PJ.

Hehehe...
Now both Pogi and I can smile ear to ear cos the booking has confirmed.
Now we can plan for our Philippines trip back home.
Now we can plan to go apply for Pogi's multi-entry pass.
Now we can plan to renew my passport and making Little Guapo's passport.
Now we can check the flight tickets to Philippines.
Now we can tell all our guests where we going to work next.
Now suddenly there's a lot of things to prepare.

Oops... do we have to bring Little Guapo's stroller when we go to Philippines?

Woah... slow down girl, just do a checklist and i know everything can be settled.

Ok... starting today we'll be busy making plans for our trip.

So where do i start???

Oh ya, today Little Guapo got gymboree class at 2:50pm later in Bangsar Village.

Lovin it

Since Monday last week, nothing much happens except that Pogi and I went to watch the latest film by Jet Li and Jackie Chan called The Forbidden Kingdom at Sunway Pyramid. And as usual working at night has been great.

On Tuesday went to Subang Parade to collect Lil Guapo's picture frame. Just checkout the pix. Ain't he cute????

On Wednesday, we had a show for the International Secretaries Week Luncheon at the Vintage Ballroom for the Nine to Five with Jaclyn Victor at 12 noon till 2:30pm. We started at 12:15 noon, performed for 30 mins and then we had our lunch buffet. Buffet was superb, from Japanese to Thailand, to Indian and Mediterranean food. Kenyang burrpppp.... After finish makan, Jaclyn came out at around 1:30pm. She started with the song 9 to 5, then a few other songs, including a medley. And then she had a special guest singer, Salamiah Hassan came out to sing 3 songs. Then the show started to be boring, so we left. Anyways we were quite tired cos have to wake up early. After we left, Pogi and I decided to go for body massage. At night, work as usual. All of us felt tired and bored but with a little booze, boredom + tiredness = hypercrazy!

On Thursday, we had an audition at Wharf Armada Hotel PJ. The GM and the Manager very like our band. This booking is for June 2008.

Friday, work.

Saturday.... work.

And today, Sunday! Off day! We planned to go kizsport again later.

But now im busy editing pictures. Lovin it!

Body Massage, KizSports and Steamboat Buffet

Sunday....

Ahhhh.... my off day. Thank god. After a painful Saturday, i felt a little better. Woke up and pick up my lil guapo. Then i sent my 2 boys to the hotel for their afternoon nap and i went to have my nice 2 hours body massage at Manjakaki Reflexology in Carrefour Subang.

I did massage 1 time before at Manjakaki with an indonesian girl named Ani. So this time i called to book at 3pm. The moment i lie on my tummy, she started from my feet up to my thigh. While she massage, i am non stop burping (throwing the air out!). Most of the parts are very painful. After the legs, up to my back and hands, and tummy and shoulder and neck. God... the most painful part was my tummy. She said it's very 'keras'! Keras with angin or lemak, aku pun tak tau da!

But after 2 hours of painful massage, i felt relieved. Totally very ringan feeling. Couldn't say it in words....

Then i'm back to the hotel, pick up my 2 boys again.

Sent Pogi for his massage session pulak. Then i'm off to Aman. In Aman Suria, everyone was waiting and ready to go One Utama. I planned to bring Lil Guapo and Ashraf to KizSport. Some gym activity for Lil Guapo. We spent 2 hours in KizSports, Lil Guapo had a scratch on his knee while coming down from the slide. But we really enjoyed diving and lying down in the pool of balls. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.....

At 8:30pm we left the place to meet up with Momma and Dad at Buffet Steamboat in Sunway. Reached the place exactly 9pm, and took our food and ate. Lil Guapo was really really tired. After enjoying all the food, we paid our bills and head home.

Gawd... what did i eat?????

We had practice in the afternoon 3pm on Friday 18 April 2008.

Fadzil's having his daughter's 1st birthday party on Saturday 19 April 2008. I was really looking forward for the party and i even bought Adriana's present the day Fadzil invited me to the party.

The night came, and working time, as usual 9:45pm. The moment i stepped in Lavida lounge that night, my tummy's started to feel very very super upset! The feeling was terrible. It's not that i didn't have any food the whole day, we had dinner at the hotel. And i know my stomach is full of food, but i felt bloated with air! I started to burp and burp. So after the 1st set, i took the antacid pill (which i always carried with me in case of emergency!). I felt good.... only till the end of the sets. At 2am, Pogi and I went down for supper and i couldn't eat anything becos my tummy's still upset! So i had a cup of porridge with loads of ginger slice in it. That also i couldn't finish!

After supper, went up to the room, and at around 3:30 - 4am, i started to fell asleep.

Then.... at 6am, suddenly my tummy felt terrible! I ran to the loo every 15 minutes from 6am to 10am.

Couldn's sleep. I had diarrhea. Pity to pogi. He couldn't sleep too cos of me frequent running to the loo.

At 10pm, Pogi went down to the drugstore and bought the Poh Chai pill. Took the pills, and luckily i felt a little better. Get to sleep from 10:30am - 2pm. I woke and still feel terrible. I don't think i could attend Fadzil's party. Sent message to him, and luckily he said no prob!

I still need more sleep. Order McD's porridge. Tried to eat but stomach still growling with air!

Arrghh... i felt really terrible. At 4pm went to sleep again till 7:30pm. Woke up, took shower, still having trouble with my tummy. Frequent visits to the loo. Suddenly the loo is my favourite place. Huwaaa.....

Pogi called Amier and luckily he's outside. Pogi asked to buy medicine for diarrhea, vomiting and bloating.

Took the meds... felt much better but since i dehydrate the whole day, i felt so weak but still i had to work!

Boohoo.... it was my 1st time working feeling terrible (actually 3rd time since i sang professionally!).... but 1st time in Lavida.

The whole night i couldn't move a lot, couldn't smile. Sing? Yeah i can but not the high notes songs. Takut nnti lain pulak jadik nyer!!!! Apa tak nyer, teran punyer teran, lain yg kuar! Huwwaaaa.....

Samsung Live Loud

In the end, i bought Samsung mobile. The latest live loud model. Wanna take the SGH i550 but i know in the future i'm gonna have problem using the keypad. The keypads are small and it's specially meant for emails only. For music, the sound came out not nice. So i took the Live Loud model. Meant really for playing music. I trade in my Nokia N76, but when i use the new Samsung, doesn't change a lot cos the functions are exactly the same with Nokia N series. Usually when i bought a new gadgets, be it mobile phone, or laptop or digital camera, i would spent most of the time learning to use the gadgets, but this time nothing to learn, cos it's the same as my old phone. Sigh....

Lil Guapo is very very naughty. Also started to talk so much. He started calling "Papa" too.

CAR, WHATZAT, MAMA

"Car", "Watzat", "Mama".

Yup.... I'm the happiest mom when i heard my son say those 3 words. Lil Guapo has been talking since the past 2 days! Before this the only word he knows is "There". And sometimes he said "Crane" (pronounce "Taine"). He's a little bit slow in talking. I guess he doesn't want to grow up yet. Not yet. He understand every single word when we talk to him, its just that he doesn't want or malas to talk. Hmmm... let him enjoy his time! If he's not ready to talk yet, we're ok.

We're having big family dinner tomorrow. This time Mama Lin buying for all of us. Not sure which hotel to go, either One World Hotel or Royale Bintang PJ. We have to have dinner in the CURVE vicinity. Eddie got SHUFFLEZ show at Cineleisure from afternoon till night. That's why we have to have dinner around that area.

i-Phone VS HTC

Call me crazy, yes but i'm really addicted to changing mobile phones every 6 months and if i saw the latest mobile in the market, i don't wait for 6 months.

I bought Nokia N76 last year in November. Since i bought the N76, i accidentally dropped the phone soooooo many times. And Lil Guapo love to play with my phone too. He loved to press the MP3 buttons. And once he's holding the phone, he would never give back to me! And if he's angry, he would throw the phone. Just imagine!

So the other day we were walking in Subang Parade, we stopped at one of the mobile phones counter. Pogi wants to change his phone so he was browsing and surveying the price, and suddenly i saw i-phone. I have no idea what phone was that until the chinese salesman (very friendly and entertaining), showed me what is i-phone. He even let me took pictures and testing sms with the phone. It was all touchscreen, very easy handling (user friendly), got wi-fi, i-pod, and the price is reasonably (within my budget after trading in my N76).

i-phone

Then Pogi told me that he wants to buy my phone. So i told him, i'll wait till end of this month before i decide whether i should change my phone or not.

So yesterday, we went to Low Yatt Plaza, to fix the GATEWAY notebook given by Mr. Lee to Pogi. Mr.Lee gave on Friday night. It was heavy, big and still in good condition. We brought along Eddie (anak Amir), cos Eddie knows how to fix computer. He told us to just buy the adaptor, upgrade the memory RAM and buy the Wi-Fi card. So we did. Luckily Eddie tagged along so he knows where and what to buy. All in all we spent about RM400 to fix the notebook.

Then i checked the price of i-phone, and it's cheaper than Subang Parade. Suddenly Eddie said he prefer buying HTC phone than any other phone!!!

I didn't know what or which is HTC phone until he showed me that it looks like DOPOD. And when i saw the phone, it looks bulky, and nice, and it has everything. Wi-fi, 3.5G, GPS, windows mobile 6, 3 mp camera etc etc etc, but the price is definitely more than i-phone!

HTC TyTN II

Now... i'm stuck in between 2 mobile phones. Either i-phone or HTC?

What i want in a mobile phone is calling, texting, picture taking, listen to mp3 and surfing the net. Yup, HTC gave me more than what i asked for but i think i like the i-phone. It's slim and easy, i think!

Hehehehe....

Gosh... i don't know how and where to start....

It's been a while since i last update my blog. Life has been busy, actually not that busy, but we've been staying overnight at the hotel most of the time. The past weeks, we've been busy talking about what would happen to all the clubs when the opposition party took over Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Are the pubs gonna remained open??? Just imagine what will i be next if the pubs are closed???? Go on.... keep wondering!

Lil Guapo as usual getting very very naughty.... Just look at him running away from me in the picture below....
Lil Guapo playing chase with me.

Nights at Holiday Villa Subang are the same. The same dangdut/joget people were there. Wen we played all the latest song or a little different sound than dangdut/joget, they will show their long face! But who cares!!!! They're not the only guests in Lavida Lounge.

Si pogi before work.

Last wednesday 19 March, the SRK KJ 1987 had a small gathering lunch at California Kitchen Pizza in KLCC. Pogi and Lil Guapo tagged along with me but both papa and son go jalan2 on their own. Reached 12 noon sharp and Lil Guapo saw a Barney ride. He was screaming and running towards Barney.

Lil Guapo enjoying the Barney ride!

Jijot was the 1st one arrived at KLCC. She called me and said she's already at Lower Ground Floor. Met up with her, then Ben came. We made our way to California Pizza Kitchen on the 1st Floor. Waited a few minutes, then Harris came. Then Ida, followed by Hykal, Reza, Linda, Liz and Fahmi. Amir came at 1:20pm.

Fahmi made fun of Amir when Amir came. Fahmi planned with all of us to sing a birthday song when Amir arrived. Well... i told Fahmi, i'm a singer and i don't mind singing! When Amir walked to the table, Fahmi and the rest of us started singing Happy Birthday (it's not his bday!), with clapping hands! Like REAL! I saw Amir blushed. Sorry la Mir....

Left to right : Jijot, Nina, Reza (next to me not in the pix),
Liz (purple baju), Fahmi, Dr Hykal, Ida, Harris and Ben. (Linda took the pic and Amir was late!)

We had pizzas, pastas, coffee and dessert. We chat and chat and chat. Though we are like separated in 2 groups cos the table was long, but it was fun! We finished lunch and chatting at around 2:30pm. Said farewell and i met up with Pogi and Lil Guapo on the upper floor, with Lil Guapo taking one of the rides again! We jalan2 sikit, Pogi bought a Levi's jeans and off we go home. The moment we got in the car, Lil Guapo pun tidur.... kroh kroh kroh!

Thursday, public holiday. Maulidur Rasul. We had band practice at 3pm. It wasn't my day to practice. Most of the songs for practice today are Sri's and Pogi's. I just wanna practice Whitney Houston's I HAVE NOTHING cos Abg Lan (one of Lavida's regular guest) always requesting me that song! I do need more practice for that song! Just watch the video and u can see my mistakes!

Practice time at Lavida Lounge Holiday Villa Subang on 20 March 2008 3pm.

The next song i hafta practice is THROUGH THE FIRE. Hmm... i don't know whether i can do it or not. To me that's the toughest song. Very high. I think i hafta climb on a chair to reach the high notes for that song... ngahahaha.....

Today i just heard that Harris's grandma passed away. Ben called Harris and Harris is on the way to Kelantan. My condolences to you!!!

Shopping Day!

Monday's the day we went for shopping!

First we head down to Bangsar, i wanna buy a new sunglasses. Mama Lin brought me to this one shop selling branded sunnies in Jalan Telawi 2. Once we walked in the shop, the staffs are all very super friendly. I just wanna check Gucci sunnies, and suddenly they took out Dior, Thookan (designer for GAP), Marc Jacobs etc etc... Alamak, i sudah rambang mata. Tried everything, square, hexagon, big, small. And in the end there are 2 choices left. The Gucci or Marc Jacobs. Priced at almost RM1000+. But after discount i can get around RM600+. Hmmm... tried alternately the Gucci and MJ, and finally i decided to buy the Marc Jacobs sunnies. This is my 1st time buying an expensive original branded sunnies. Usually i bought a RM20 Vincci sunnies. Tapi selalu patah. So i decided to invest a little bit more this time.

My new Marc Jacobs sunnies

Next stop we went to Queens Park Cheras. We went there just to let mum tengok2 the bags. Suddenly she bought 1. I never planned to buy any handbag this month, but when we were at FB End Of Season outlet, there's a small Guess bag that i like, and i always have big handbags (to put Lil Guapo's diaper, milk, bottle, wipes, doo2 etc). So now, since Lil Guapo already 2 years old, and i noticed i need not carry his bottle or diaper, why else do i need a big bag? So in the end, i ended up buying the small Guess bag which cost me only RM156. Original price was RM289. Gila... beg besar 2 tapak tangan harga sampai RM300. Nasib baik ada discount. Takde discount kalu, takde ler akak nk beli... hehehe...

Then we went to Nichii Sg Besi. There's a moving out sale. Very cheap but all not nice. I just bought a cap like the girl in my blog page wearing. White and black ribbon tied around the cap! I've been looking for this cap a long time. And when I saw it, I didn’t think twice. I took it (the last piece) and paid. I bought a pair of silver shoes (to match with my new Guess bag!), and then we head to our next stop.

Next stop was Times Square. Planned to buy stockings only and then I saw the leg warmers. I think I’ll look cool wearing the leg warmers. I bought 2 pairs, black and red stripe. Also bought a net stockings and a leggings. Then jalan2 I bought this shoe like converse high cut. Nice. RM30 only. Lepas tu, we all sumer dah penat shopping, we headed home.

Night time, working. As usual, Monday night is very quiet.

Happy Birthday MIKAIL SUMILANG

We had a great dinnertime at Marche The Curve on 9th March 2008, to celebrate Lil Guapo's 2nd birthday. The whole family were there, Dad & Mom, Mama Lin with Nabil and Eddie, Baby with Sam and Ashraf and Sofia.

All of us had different2 food and Lil Guapo enjoyed the sausages. In fact, he finished 2 sausages. I had Pizza, Chicken chop, the Australian root beer, mashed potato.... actually, i ate a lot! BURRP... Whatever Baby or Mum or Pogi took, i had a taste of every food. Wouldn't want to miss anything. At the end of our dinner, there was a surprise Cheesecake given by Mr. Lim. So we sang birthday song for Lil Guapo and he blowed the candles, and cut the cake (with a little help from me!). Gosh, the cheesecake tasted very very delicious. Not so sweet, mixed of strawberry and chocolate. And after paying the bills, we head down to Tesco, bought some groceries.

And when we reached home, all of us had stomach ache, including Lil Guapo. Hahahaha.....
